Volunteers sought to help out around the office at Jewish Family Services. Preparing mailings, making some calls, updating donor and client info in our database, and various ongoing admin projects would be involved. Biweekly volunteering for 1-2 hours might suffice. Volunteers will be background-checked at our expense. Some skill with online databases and Microsoft Office suite helpful, though we'll train.

Description
Jewish Family Services organizations throughout the United States work to meet the social service demands of those in need. Jewish Family Services (JFS) is an organization that can be found in many communities with an established Jewish population. In the pursuit of tikun olam (fixing the world), many JFS organizations focus on assisting the aging, families, and children. While each local office is an independent nonprofit organization, all share a similar philosophy: to help those in need.
