Mission Statement

Our Mission is to increase food security and build healthier communities by offering high-quality, locally sourced, nutritious and affordable meals through a donation model. Our Vision: Harmony Cafe envisions a community where everyone has easy access to healthy, nutritious food and can live their lives with dignity and respect, regardless of their circumstances.

Our Philosophy is that everyone, regardless of economic status, deserves to chance to eat healthy food while being treated with dignity.

SINCE 2016

Harmony Café is actively working to address the foregoing needs in Suffolk County (in general) and Patchogue (specifically). We currently operate by holding monthly luncheons (24 to-date) in partnership with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post # 2913 in Patchogue and area restaurants.

Through these community meal events, Harmony Café has served over 1,100 residents, with an average of 55 guests per event. Our events feature live music provided by local artists, a three-course meal (including drinks), and a trained chef who maximizes the use of all donated local food as he/she combines them into memorable, hearty, and high-quality meals.
Our meal events are also socially engaging, we do more than serve delicious meals. Our events are an experience of togetherness as one community helping each other by offering an uplifting and positive environment for all our guests.

Harmony Café is a proud member of the established nonprofit restaurant business model developed by the One World Everybody Eats Foundation (OWEE). We encourage the entire community to eat with us, regardless of their ability to pay.
