Responsibilities : Visit potential adopters and/or fosters in their home environment to assess safety and suitability for prospective adoptable or foster pets. For foster parents, volunteer will review program requirements. Visits are generally no more than 20 minutes and a checklist will be provided.
Requirements : Reliable transportation, drivers license and car insurance. Good interpersonal and customer service skills. Responsive to texts.
Time Commitment: About 20 minutes per appointment; training will take 1-2 20 minutes shadowing sessions; ongoing commitment based on your schedule with flexibility. Adoption counselor will work with volunteers to schedule home visits either close to their work or home for their convenience.
