Robotics Tournament Volunteer Training at Boston Scientific
ORGANIZATION: High Tech Kids
Please visit the new page to apply.
Kids all over Minnesota are already hard at work building robots, programming them to complete this year's challenge and researching how they can make improvements in their community.
Come to training so you will be ready to volunteer at a FIRST LEGO League or FIRST Tech Challenge tournament this November through next February.
Volunteer roles to be trained at this event are for Judges and Referees for both FLL and FTC.
We welcome anyone interested in volunteering with us, even if you don't have technical skills. Attend this free training session to learn more about how you can make an impact.

Mission Statement
High Tech Kids delivers fun, hands-on science, engineering and technology programs and events that inspire Minnesota kids in their formative years. We inspire kids to BUILD confidence, CREATE opportunities, and THRIVE in the 21st century.
Description
High Tech Kids is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that supports the Minnesota FIRST LEGO League Explore, FIRST LEGO League Challenge and Minnesota FIRST Tech Challenge each fall/winter. Through these programs we train, teach and empower student teams, coaches and volunteers.
With the help of more than 700 volunteers, we work hard to offer high energy, fun, team-based programs and competitions that celebrate science and technology. Kids learn how to work together, solve real-world problems and become leaders. To support High Tech Kids is to invest in our children, to share our passion, and to inspire these future innovators, leaders, collaborators, and problem solvers for the 21st century.
High Tech Kids now serves over 7,500 kids across Minnesota each year. Since our inception in 1999 we have helped over 67,000 students discover the fun in science and technology.
High Tech Kids’ programs, training, research workshops and competitions provide adult volunteers the opportunity to share their enthusiasm and expertise with young people in their community. These volunteers encourage kids to explore future STEM career possibilities.
