Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation

We are looking for volunteers to help clean up and do some maintenance on our Hubbs Trail! This is a beautiful 1/2 mile trail located just off of the Coast Highway in Carlsbad. Keeping this trail clean is essential to ensuring the health of wildlife and plants! Not to mention the health of the Lagoon! With your help we will be picking up trash, removing any invasive species, removing extra brush on the trail, removing graffiti, and other general trail maintenance. All age groups are welcome, but anyone under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian before or at the event. LOAs and volunteer documentation can be provided at the event. To sign up, contact Lauren Rabak at lauren@aguahedionda.org

Requirements:
Closed toed shoes must be worn for this event, and long work pants (jeans, or cargo pants). Please bring a reusable water bottle (we will have water bottles on site but we will have a limited amount) and plenty of sunscreen.

Directions:
Turn right coming out of the Discovery Center on to Cannon Rd, right on Coast hi-way, right on Tamarack, first right on Garfield. Park at the end of Garfield and walk down the dirt access road to the trail.
