Hello!
Priority Hospice in Covina is looking for passionate individuals who would like to dedicate a portion of their time to helping hospice patients. We have open positions for Office Volunteer and Patient Visit Volunteer. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, however, we will work with your availability. Office volunteers may be given the task to file documents in Human Resources, assist in data entry in Quality Assurance, and more. Patient visit volunteers may assist the patient with light household cleaning, running errands for them, providing caregiver relief, or just providing active listening.
Anyone is eligible to apply for the volunteer program. Bilingual individuals are encouraged to apply, but it is not a requirement. All volunteers must submit an application, be interviewed, pass a background check, complete training, undergo a medical screening, and have reliable form of transportation. This entire process can take up to a week or more to complete depending on your availability.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to email me at kenneth@priorityhospiceservices.com or call (626)335-1082 and ask for Kenneth (Volunteer Coordinator).
Thank you, I hope to hear from you soon!
