Volunteer coverage is needed on Monday and Friday afternoons. You can pick one or both of the days!

This individual should be outgoing and enjoy talking and interacting with people. The attendant answers basic questions from family members and answers the phone. Phone calls are from staff members looking for family members to update the family on the status of the Veterans surgery.

The attendant will help keep the waiting room and coffee bar area picked-up and clean. The coffee maker is an automatic brewer so you do not have to make the coffee -- just keep the cups and condiments stocked and occasionally wipe up minor spills.

This volunteer position is ideal for someone who wants to get out of the house but not be overly stimulated with a fast-paced environment. Many of the current volunteers enjoy reading a book or working on a craft in between customers or checking on the coffee bar.
