RIVERWEST FOOD PANTRY INC

Come join us and help us prepare for food distribution. Every Friday morning from 8:30-11 am, we make pre-packed food bags, load-in deliveries, sort fresh produce, and make sure we are ready for our shoppers to come on Saturday morning. Come serve with us and learn more about our community and how we serve our neighborhood!

Please read through the safety information below and let us know if you have any questions.

We are serving a very vulnerable population and are taking every precaution to keep our whole community safe. We are asking all volunteers who are working at the pantry to please wear a mask. We ask that you wear a mask regardless of whether or not you are vaccinated.

Based on the population we serve, we are doing our best to take the necessary precautions to keep everyone in our community safe. Thank you all in advance for your flexibility and understanding. We couldn't do this work without you and are so grateful for your support!

About RIVERWEST FOOD PANTRY INC

Location:

924 E. Clarke St., MILWAUKEE, WI 53212, US

Mission Statement

Mission Recognizing that everyone has gifts to share, Riverwest Food Pantry is a community food center that engages volunteers and community residents to end hunger, isolation, and poverty. Our innovative programs nourish health, belonging, and economic opportunity.

Description

Riverwest Food Pantry brings people together from all over Milwaukee who may not otherwise experience community together.

Each time we open our doors we rehearse what it means to be a Community of Generosity. No one here is so deprived that they have nothing to give, no one is so well-off that they no longer have needs. We’ve seen how this recipe for community enriches our lives and dissolves barriers that divide us.
