IMMEDIATE NEED -- beginning right after the holidays and on-going.
Volunteers are the key to a service dog's success. Without dedicated, giving individuals who open the hearts and homes to a dog in training, Perfect Fit Canines is unable to help those in need of an amazing canine helper.
Raising a service dog in training is extremely rewarding. This is a great opportunity for an individual, 2 or more individuals acting as co-raisers, a corporate office group, a student in need of a senior project or a college student.

Mission Statement
It is the mission of this organization to provide a service dog which is perfectly trained to meet the social, emotional and physical needs of handicapped individuals.
Description
Since 2010 Perfect Fit Canines has been training service dogs to aid those in need. The organization initially concentrated on providing service dogs for those with autism and then expanded to train service dogs for various health conditions including balance, psychiatric support, cardiac conditions and diabetes. Perfect Fit Canines has also trained a facility dog for a school dedicated to autism. We rely on dedicated volunteers to provide loving homes to the service dogs in training, socialize them in public and obedience training. Without these dedicated individuals we would not be able to fulfill our mission. Perfect Fit Canines provides all veterinary costs, equipment costs and the cost of training classes. The volunteer is responsible only for the cost of food, treats and toys.
