ORGANIZATION: CONNECTICUT INSTITUTE FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT-PUERTO RICAN PARADE

Connecticut Institute of Community Development, are looking for volunteers to work with committee members with the Festival & Parade Committee. We are looking for individuals who are creative, individuals who are willing to assist with organizing, participate with special events, fundraising, decorating, greet sponsors, Assists with new volunteer recruitment & training.

This is a great opportunity for individuals whom to give a hour or hours of their time.

  • Sun Jun 07, 2020 - evening / 05:00 PM to 08:30 PM
    Volunteers needed to help with cleaning of festival in park
  • Sun Jun 07, 2020 - afternoon / 12:00 PM to 04:45 PM
    Volunteers needed to work in Bushnell park to work with merchandise & food vendors
  • Sun Jun 07, 2020 - morning / 07:45 AM to 11:45 AM
    We will need volunteers in Bushnell Park for different duties
  • Sun Jun 07, 2020 - morning / 06:15 AM to 11:45 AM
    Volunteers are needed in parade route

The Connecticut Institute for Community Development- Puerto Rican Parade Committe(CICD) founded in 1958 dedicated to social engagement, Community building, cultural enrichment, and most renowned for its annual Puerto Rican Day Parade. Cultivated decades ago through modest means, it has emerged as a parade of prominence in the state of Connecticut highlight the sensational influences that Puerto Rican heritage has on society as a whole
