  • Provide diversional activities as directed
  • Provide reassurance/comfort
  • Provide support during the dying process
  • Provide social interaction
  • Provide for expression of grief
  • Facilitate verbalization of hopeless feelings
  • Assist patients with designated tasks such as reading, letter writing, homemaking assistance, and shopping/running errands
  • Provide supportive/active listening
  • Reduce unnecessary sensory simulation
  • Validate patient's feelings and appropriate behaviors
  • Provide cues to assist memory/retention
  • Provide care relief for caregiver

At Nurses Touch Hospice, our goal is to help bring comfort to our patients and their loved ones during their most difficult times. With over 30 years of experience in the home healthcare setting, we truly understand the importance of living each moment of our lives with quality and dignity. Assuring each patient receives the excellent care they deserve, our team of caring professionals will help maximize the quality of life every patient deserves and ease the worries and discomfort they may experience. We strive to make sure our patients receive the best care available in all aspects of life. Our services include and are not limited to working closely with the attending physician to help with all medical needs each patient may have, 24-hour assistance from highly skilled nurses to assist in managing moments of discomfort, and counseling services and helpful resources to both patient and their loved ones.
