Monthly Naturalization Workshop
ORGANIZATION: Hamkae Center
Please visit the new page to apply.
We are always in search of general volunteers, interpreters, and legal professionals, to assist community members at our naturalization workshops. At our workshops, we help applicants complete the N-400 naturalization application, provide eligibility screenings, and pro-bono immigration lawyers provide a legal review on completed applications.
Non-attorney volunteers can help with registering applicants, interviewing clients to fill out the application, and managing logistics such as workshop flow and meals for volunteers. Great opportunity for law students and paralegals.
Attorney volunteers can help with legal review by meeting with applicants one-on-one to review their case.
All NEW volunteers MUST attend training starting at ONE HOUR BEFORE the workshop begins on the same day. Workshops are held in various parts of Northern and Central Virginia.
No foreign language skills or legal background required.
