The RAD Foundation 5k Walk for Autism is an annual event with hundreds of attendees. Volunteers will help us accomplish a variety of tasks to help the event run smoothly such as passing out water, checking in runners, serving snacks, decorating, cleaning up, directing runners, and parking. We already have teenagers but what we need is responsible adults to help direct.

Mission Statement

RAD’s mission is to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families with autism every day. RAD envisions a community where every individual with autism has access to education, care, activities and medical resources necessary to lead a happy and fulfilled life.

Description

Sensory Gym Open Play

RAD host’s open play at a local sensory gym on a monthly basis for children ages 15 and younger.

Adaptive Recreation

A recreation program hosted by Rad on a monthly basis for adults, 18 and older, with developmental disabilities.

ABA Training

Through our community partners, RAD offers ABA training for family members of those affected by Autism.

Mobility Training

RAD can facilitate a one-on-one or group training program to help individuals with disabilities learn to use public transportation safely.

Out-of-State Camps

RAD can provide access to out of state camps for individuals with disability.

Family Workshops

RAD hosts monthly family educational seminars on a variety of topics related to special needs.

Training Seminars

RAD can provides training seminars to organizations needing information or experience working with individuals and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
