Our patient volunteers play an important role in the care of our hospice patients. Volunteers visit with their patients once a week (minimum) to provide added socialization. Many hospice patients are in nursing homes and although they are surrounded by other people, depression and loneliness can set in. That is where our volunteers come in! Volunteers can play games, do puzzles, play music, attend activities, or just sit and visit with their patient.

We are looking to add to our volunteer team to visit with our patients in Oswego and Sandwich but we also always need volunteers in Aurora, Yorkville, and surrounding areas as well.

If you are interested in more information or have questions, please contact me! We ALWAYS have patients in need of a volunteer!

I look forward to hearing from you!

Mission Statement

Divine Hospice and Palliative Care, LLC, provides patients who are terminally ill with a way to improve their current state of life. We do this through a number of services from compassionate health care to pain management. We may not have the ability to cure your illness, but we can help improve your quality of life so you can make the most of what you have with the people you love. We genuinely care about your well-being and for the well-being of your family. It is our mission to make sure you can live life to the fullest while also providing the support your family needs during these trying times. Even in the darkness, there is always a light of hope, so never give up and never stop fighting.
