We strive to protect the vulnerable equine who need a safe place to recover from abuse and neglect, preserve the rare breeds nearly lost forever, educate the public about the true value of equine to our history and culture, and promote the need for research to provide the veterinary community with long needed knowledge about long ears.
Texas Miracle Ranch became an official 501 c 3 registered charity in 2014. Prior to becoming a rescue we intended to raise high end mules that we could train, show and sell. However, we have always had a soft spot for animals needing a safe place o land, and many found sanctuary here. We have loved them all. Then, the drought of 2011 came and later the fires. Our family of rescues grew by over one hundred in a single year. Soon, it became apparent that our mission had changed. Long ears, long belittled and maligned, needed us now more than ever. Texas Miracle Ranch was born.
