The Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival is kicking off its annual festival. This year we'll be showing over 80 films, features & shorts, so we need volunteers to help us keep the operation running smoothly.
We don't ask too much besides your effort and presences. Each shift served will earn you a free entry to an off-shift paid screening (except the tentpole films) and a volunteer shirt.
Some of the duties will include crowd control, ticketing, handing/collecting/tally film voting ballots, theater headcount, event set up, as well as monitoring staff supplies and VIP accommodations.
If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out this volunteer interest form (https://forms.gle/SsW3Uy5gMjokLded8), which will have more details in festival volunteering and allows us to collect some important information about you. Once you've filled out the form, please expect to get the shift sign-up sheet in early October, as well as an orientation/volunteering training schedule.

Philadelphia Asian American Film & Filmmakers (PAAFF) is a volunteer run, multicultural organization founded in 2008 to support Asian American film and filmmakers throughout the Philadelphia region and educate and expose the region to films about Asian Americans through an annual film festival.
Description
PAAFF organizes the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival which is the first event of its kind in Philadelphia - a film festival celebrating and elevating the Asian American experience.
In 3 short years, PAAFF is proud to have screened over 100 films (Documentaries, Narrative Features and Shorts) of culturally relevant programming to a broad audience while providing sponsors with a meaningful platform to engage the community.
