The Heart & Stroke Walk is the American Heart Association's premier event for raising funds to save lives from this country's No.1 and No.5 killers - heart disease and stroke. At the San Antonio Heart & Stroke Walk, we will honor survivors, remember loved ones, and celebrate our mission: to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.
We expect 6,000 walkers and runners to join us. We need volunteers to help man sponsor tents, cheer on walkers, pass out water and tear down the event.

Throughout the year there will be several different opportunities to volunteer with our organization. Events can range from health screenings, luncheons to our annual events: Heart Ball, Go Red For Women Luncheon and Heart Walk.
