Norfolk County RSVP is seeking 2 friendly visiting volunteers. By sharing your time with an isolated adult you will brighten their day and make a difference in their lives.
WE are seeking a female visitor for Albertina in Sharon. She likes to listen and have someone guide a conversation or join her in crafts or card games.
WE are seeking a male or female visitor for James in Stoughton. James lives with his wife and granddaughter and has recovered after a stroke over the past couple of years. He would enjoy conversation and the opportunity to free up his wife a bit.

Visit once a week or twice a month for 1 -1.5 hours.
Mileage reimbursement is available for your travel.

NOTE: THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO VOLUNTERS AGE 55 PLUS THROUGH A GRANT OF THE NATIONAL SENIOR CORPS.

Make a difference in Norfolk County by connecting your passions with community needs!

Norfolk County RSVP has volunteer opportunities for people aged 55 & over in 28 cities and towns at over 50 volunteer sites. Volunteer opportunities include mentoring pre-release inmates, tutoring elementary school children, drivers for Veterans, meals on wheels and food pantires, friendly visiting, non-profit support services and many more! N.C. RSVP will find the volunteer opportunity that best fits your interests & schedule and impacts the needs that are most critical to our county's communities. N.C. RSVP provides mileage reimbursement, accident & liability insurance, an invitation to our annual recognition event, monthly newsletters, orientation & training.
