Volunteer with Lorraine's Soup Kitchen & Pantry: Get the opportunity to provide for those that have not. We are looking for people interested in serving their community whether it's a recurring shift or just a day dedicated to giving.

Please consider giving a day to give to others.

The areas of most need:
Pantry Workers: 9am - 2pm, stocking shelves, packaging groceries, and general housekeeping
Meal Servers: 3pm-6:30pm, Serving and preparing meals, dishwashing, stocking shelves, and general housekeeping.

We ask Volunteers to be flexible because needs change, so our tasks change, As well we are flexible with shifts, so if you can't do certain hours we are very flexible and can accommodate most schedules.

Hours of Operation: Pantry 10am-2pm, Dinner 4pm-6pm

Parents can bring children as long as they are 10 and older, supervised by parent, and of a mature nature.
Teens allowed, 15+ of a mature nature.
Volunteering is physical in nature and may require lifting

The mission of Lorraine’s Soup Kitchen and Pantry is to feed and nurture those in need throughout the Chicopee, Massachusetts community. We provide our services in humility, while offering respect, dignity and justice to all whom we encounter.

  • Must be at least 15
  • No specific amount of time required, we ask that if you can't make your scheduled time, to give us a call
  • Casual Clothing for physical work, and close toed shoes for safety. Hair nets are required for meal service, but are provided.
