Our skilled nursing facility is currently looking for volunteers aged 12 and up to do 1-1 in room visits with some of our residents at the facility. We ask that you commit to at least two 30 min-1 hour visits per month. You will be visiting with the same resident each time in order to build a relationship. You can just visit, or play two person card games, color together, simple crafts/crocheting, do puzzles together, paint nails, etc. Over time you will get to know your resident more and their preferences! Visit times can be flexible (weekends or weekdays) but will need to occur around meal times, so between the hours of 10:30-12 pm and 1:30-5:30 is preferable.
