Brighten a patient's day on the WEST SIDE of COLUMBUS
ORGANIZATION: Gentiva Hospice
Please visit the new page to apply.
Kindred Hospice not only provides exceptional hospice care, but enhances its services with the help of volunteers.
Visiting a patient for an hour--once a week, twice a month or even once a month--makes a difference. Conversation, music, reading, watching television together or accompanying a patient to a facility activity can brighten the patient's day and give him/her something to look forward to each week or month.
Volunteers choose the patients they wish to see, making visits easy and convenient for both the volunteer and the patient. We serve patients and families throughout the Central Ohio area, and have need for volunteer visitors on Columbus' West Side. Think about sharing some time with one (or more) of our patients.
The Kindred Hospice volunteer program offers opportunities for volunteers not only to make a difference in the lives of the patients they visits, but also meet other volunteers with similar goals and values, and attend monthly Lunch & Learn educational presentations as well as other activities during the year.
We invite you to join our team of outstanding volunteers!
