Harbor Hospice Gulf Coast is looking for volunteers to help assist with clerical duties at our office in Rockport, TX. There is no set schedule and you are able to volunteer when you have time, we just ask you do commit to once or twice a month if possible. The schedule is very flexible and our office is open Monday-Friday 8-5.
Duties can include:
- Filing/Scanning
- Answering phones
- Help putting away supplies
- Assembling patient admit packet
- Assisting staff members with tasks
You will only be asked to do what you are comfortable with doing. You are the volunteer and we welcome you into our home with open arms! If you'd like you can also do patient care and offer companionship to our patients. Once you complete orientation then you are open to volunteer in any department we may offer.

At Harbor Hospice Gulf Coast, we believe our work is a sacred duty. By following our Mission Statement, we minister to the needs of our patients and their families in coping with the complex issues as they face an approaching end of life. A valuable part of our team is volunteers. All you need to become a volunteer, is a compassionate heart and the desire to give a couple of hours per month.
