PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Unified Champion Student Leader at University of Montana serves as the student contact for the Unified Champion School. This person will be the point of contact for information to be delivered to the student groups organizing and acting in UCS youth leadership roles. The Student Leader oversees and empowers youth leaders to implement the 3 components into the school community.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
· Activities: Brainstorm inclusive activities that will positively impact the school climate.
· Leadership: Serve as the primary youth voice for inclusion and respect within the school: Include students with intellectual disabilities and without in leadership roles.
· Reporting: Work with School Liaison to submit monthly reports to SOMT
· Communication: Communicate regularly with the SOMT Outreach Director; Connect with SOMT on social media: Facebook, Instagram.
