Help feed individuals and families in the community who are food insecure. Catholic Charities' food distribution site at Salvation Army Centre City operates once per month on the 3rd Friday of each month, 8:30-11:00 am. Stay for a few hours or assist with the entire shift.

Join us one time or commit to volunteering each month at Salvation Army Centre City in downtown Your service will help serve a basic need to many who struggle to feed themselves and their families. Volunteers will unload and load USDA food commodities for community members to pick up, assist with intake, and escort patrons through the food line as shopping assistants. Come as an individual to join our team or bring a group to volunteer! Minors are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

- Must be at least 14
- Food Distribution at Salvation Army Centre City operates on the 3rd Friday of each month, 8:30- 11:00 am. Join one time or commit to volunteering at the site each month. Stay for a few hours or the entire shift.
- Volunteers must be able to walk and stand for 1- 2 hours at a time and lift 10-20 pounds of food commodities. Must possess a spirit of welcome and kindness.
