BOSS is an Alameda County nonprofit organization that provides solutions to mass homelessness, mass incarceration, and community violence. BOSS serves over 4,000 individuals and families per year at shelter, housing, employment, and support service programs that strive to turn lives around.

We are looking for social work or mental health services interns to help provide trauma-informed care to our target population - homeless individuals experiencing multiple forms of trauma (homelessness, generational poverty, family separation, domestic violence, community violence, incarceration, untreated mental illness, and other challenges) - to help them build life coping skills and move into permanent housing.

LOCATION: Multiple possible locations, in Berkeley, Oakland, San Leandro, and Hayward.

HOURS: Hours will be flexible per the intern’s schedule and program hours.
