Our Gala 4 HOPE is approaching and we are so excited for it and we are hopeful to see many of you attend. We have a great need for volunteers - as in 40. This is our biggest fundraiser and a FUN night.
*Please take a look at the duties below and reply to me with 2-3 jobs you would be interested in. This is a great opportunity for all volunteers to see some of the amazing things we are doing as an organization.
- Nametag Making (4) Group of volunteers to put together the Gala nametags on Thursday night.
- Load-In (3-4) Group of volunteers to help us bring all of our stuff to the Marriott on Friday evening 2P - 6P with movers
- General Set-Up (Saturday Daytime Volunteers) (10)

- Golden Ticket (4) Two groups of two (GO GETTER)-

- Somewhere Over the Rainbow Photobooth (1) Need a volunteer stationed there though to answer questions, facilitate the line and what not.
- Poppy Prize Game (2-3) Two taking $$$ from game participants; 1 to help oversee the inventory/hand out prizes
- Flying Monkey Wine and Libations Game (2) - GO GETTER (not high level tho)
- Silent Auction (2) Two people hovering around silent auction watching items, encouraging bidding, taking bids for people who don’t have their phone out
- Live Auction (3)
- Raffle Ticket Volunteers (4) - GO GETTERS
- Writers/Recorder (2) - Two volunteers to write down all bids and audio record this portion

Mission Statement
Mission: Providing pathways to end youth homelessness. Vision: All youth will feel safe, valued and supported while reaching their full potential. This begins with meeting their basic needs and leads to giving them the tools to thrive.
Description
On any given night in Minnesota, 6,000 young people are without a home. They’re sleeping in cars, couch-hopping or struggling to survive on the streets. HOPE 4 Youth is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Anoka County that helps young people, ages 16 to 24, who are experiencing homelessness in the northern Twin Cities metro area.
In March 2013, HOPE 4 Youth opened its doors, becoming the first and only Drop-In Center for homeless youth ages 23 and under in the north metro area.
In December 2016, HOPE 4 Youth opened HOPE Place, a 12-unit supportive transitional housing program for youth ages 18-24, located in Coon Rapids.
