Make a Difference!! Be a friend to a Hospice Patient!!! St. John Hospice is looking for a volunteer in the Sand Springs area to visit our hospice patients. To be a friend to them! To listen to their stories! Listen to a Veteran tell their stories! Some of our patients do not have family, so we become their family.
We are also looking for volunteers to sit with the patient so the caregiver can take a break or run errands.
Be a FRIEND to a hospice patient and to the families!!
We following the CDC guidelines for COVID-19. Volunteers are required to wear a mask during visits with patients. Also, they are required to follow infection control/good hand washing protocols. Volunteers are trained on infection control.
