Join ILACSD and the City of Chula Vista for the 17 th annual Beautify Chula Vista Day! We’ll be leading cleanups and beautification projects at 3 locations, with plenty more travel sites around town! Last year over 1,000 volunteers diverted nearly 15,000 lbs of litter from our environment, and we’re excited to do it again!
We have so many fantastic projects around town, and ways for everyone to give back to our beautiful community. This year we are focusing our efforts on litter eradication, graffiti paint-outs, and landscape mulching. Join us at one of the 3 kick-off sites, where we’ll have free T-shirts, snacks, sign-ups for projects, and more.
Please note that some of the projects require driving or carpooling to another location after the kick-off. As always, we bring all the supplies but we always encourage BYO-buckets, gloves, and reusable bottles!
All volunteers are required to fill out a waiver form to participate and anyone under the age of 18 needs a waiver signed by their parent or guardian.
3 Locations: Memorial Park (373 Park Way); Loma Verde Recreation Center (1420 Loma Lane); TBA
