Help us grow our Social Media presence on various platforms!

Responsibilities:

  • Regularly post to all social media platforms including: Facebook, Twitter, Red Cross Blog, Flickr, and YouTube
  • Help develop relevant website content
  • Monitor and track social media mentions
  • Engage and monitor social media users in active conversation
  • Alert social media team leader regarding comments that require a high level response, or that may compromise the mission of the Red Cross

Qualifications
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Familiarity with: Facebook, Twitter, Blogging, Flickr, and YouTube
  • Maintains own Facebook and Twitter accounts
  • Ability to be on call during disaster situations as needed to update social media in real time
  • Familiarity with basic photography and videography techniques, video editing skills are a plus
  • Ability to communicate in a friendly and engaging manner
