As a nonprofit, we are continually looking to increase the outreach we have in the community. We are looking for committed, knowledgeable, community-driven, and passionate individuals, like you, who are interested in serving as our Advisory Board member(s) and possess expertise in performing or visual arts.
And this is where you come in! Individual board members would serve in a variety of roles that would meet their interests and availability. They will work with our corporate board and staff members.
Your primary functions as the art advisory board member would be:
Build-upon existing 2020/2021 program schedule.
Build-upon existing art showcase processes and design.
Update application / scoring process for the art showcase into the future.
Refer and secure professional artists who are willing to mentor K12 students in their chosen category.
Evaluate existing and recommend new ways to access K12 students
Promote the Battle of the Teal 4EDU program and showcase
Recommend other like-minded organizations who can assist with some of the art activities or partner with us.
Fundraising activities in support of the program’s sustainability beyond our grant-making efforts.
About the art program
iN Education’s Battle of the Teal is a year-round art program that promotes the hard work and dedication of visual and performing artists. This program builds a platform for young K-12 students and emerging artists who wish to develop in the arts of their selected form and boost their confidence levels. Furthermore, they will be able to experience what it’s like to present their art form in front of a live or virtual audience!
We provide art-focused activities and art programs for families and art enthusiasts alike while playing our role in connecting them with art professionals from Northeast Ohio.
