Food Outreach, Inc.

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 43 people are interested

Currently we are limiting volunteers on site to keep everyone safe, so this has led me to monthly scheduling in order to be able to honor all volunteer requests.
We are also limiting days we are open and currently we are not operational on Saturday. We have planned on keeping this model through the end of 2020, if not longer.

Food Outreach has pivoted our client services model to provide pre packed boxes with a month's worth of food to clients on Wednesdays and Thursdays. These boxes are packed on Monday and Tuesday and our Chef works with volunteers on Fridays to prep and cook meals that will be frozen and provided to Food Outreach clients.

We plan to keep the number in the building to a maximum of 15 individuals, this number includes staff AND volunteers.
This roughly equates to only 3-5 volunteers per day. The volunteer times are: Monday 10am - 3pm Tuesday 10am - 3pm Wednesday 9am - 3pm Thursday 9am - 3pm Friday 9am - 1pm Please check out this wonderful video showing our curbside model, if you haven't already! https://vimeo.com/ 415168297
