Each second and fourth Friday Boone Tabernacle serves as a drop-off site for Harvesters. We receive pounds of food that we then give to community members completely free.
We start at 1 p.m. and volunteers will handle food items and break down boxes for clean up. Please note that we require volunteers to be kind to all people receiving services; people skills are as important as willing hands.

Description
Boone Tabernacle has been in the heart of Kansas City, Missouri for more than 70 years. Strategically located in the downtown area, Boone provides enrichment programs to community members including our annual Labor Day Sunday Festival, Summer Feeding Program, Children’s Church and Pure Youth Ministry for teens, prison ministry, the annual Christmas Gospel Jazz Concert, continued land acquisition and community partnerships with area universities and health institutes.
