Participants in our Financial Coaching program are learning to set financial goals, learn about borrowing, credit scores, and how to maximize their already stretched income to help support their families.
We are looking for 4 dedicated volunteers to assist with our participant's children alongside our Head Start staff in our socialization room while parents are learning these valuable skills. This is a great opportunity for those who love children or students going into Early Childhood Education.
The commitment is 3 hours every Tuesday from 5:15 - 8:15 staring Oct 29th and running through December 3rd. This would be approximately 20 hours of volunteer time (this includes the 2 hours of orientation and training).
We will also have another 6-week session starting on Jan 9th and going until Feb 13th and are in need of 4 more volunteers to assist.
We do require an application found here and background checks of our volunteers.
If you have any questions, please let me know by emailing groth@communityactionatwork.org or calling 402-875-9320
Thank you for your help!
