Mission Statement

At KIPP Wisdom Academy our mission is to nurture our scholars' academic knowledge and skills and character strengths so that our scholars have the wisdom they need to excel in post-primary school and college, so they can build a better tomorrow for themselves and us all.

Description

KIPP Wisdom Academy currently serves kindergarten- 4th grade. At KIPP Wisdom Academy we believe that being educated means accumulating knowledge and learning from experiences to have a stronger impact on oneself and the world. In short, being educated means getting wise.

Our scholars deserve an academic foundation that nurtures curiosity. We will have a stimulating core curriculum, eye-opening field experiences and small group instruction facilitated by masterful teachers that ensures that everyone is learning something new every single day.

Our scholars deserve a school culture where they feel supported, nurtured, and driven to do the right thing. Therefore, we value clear and consistent expectations across our school, caring relationships between students and staff, and a positive and calm environment that is grounded in school values and individual student character strengths.

Our scholars deserve a school that is rooted in the community. We will ask ourselves, "How can we best leverage the assets of the community to support students and families and staff?"
