Day of the Harvest Ball Volunteer-

Saturday, October 19, 2019- Rosen Shingle Creek (work all day or a shift)

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before shift starts so you can park in self park and get to Sebastian Ballroom. You will need a free parking voucher that you can get from us that day.

Morning Shift: Time 8am-3:30pm (if you can’t stay the whole time that’s okay) Comfy Clothes

Morning Shift Volunteers will be helping with a variety of tasks including: unloading items, carrying items, setting up decorations and tables, setting up silent auction displays, and more!

Breakfast/Lunch, Beverages & Snacks Provided!

Evening Shift: estimated Time 4:00pm-11:30pm Cocktail Attire Required

Evening Shift Volunteers will be volunteering at the ball and will need to attend the full shift. It will start with an orientation on BidPal to learn how the system works. Volunteers will then be assisting attendees during the auction to bid on items, helping with the live auction- spotting bidders, taking down auction items at the close of the auction, assisting with item check out including retrieving & packing baskets, assisting with event tear down, carrying & loading items back on the truck and more, all to the music of the Buzzcatz!

    Cocktail attire with shoes that you can walk around in- you will be at the event helping

    This will require carrying, lifting and set up- casual comfy clothes and sneakers or sturdy shoes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • Morning shift: 2-8 hours; Evening Shift: 8 hours- must work the entire shift; or All Day (both shifts) 8am -11:30pm 15.5hours
  • Able to walk and carry items, later shift requires understanding our BidPal system and use of cell phones and ipads. There is quite a bit of walking, although registration and auction checkout are seated. Sensible shoes for walking and carrying items
