Thrift Store Volunteers Needed -- Donation Intake

Donations are the lifeblood of the Thrift Store so it's imperative that we have intake coverage during the hours when donations are accepted. Along with our organization's commitment to animals, our friendly, expedient service is an important factor in the public's decision to donate to us. Therefore, it is vital that we have consistent coverage.

We're looking for volunteers to fill the four shifts below on a regular basis:

Saturday: 10:00 am-1:00 pm or 1:00 -- 4:00 pm
Monday: 10:00 am-1:00 pm or 1:00 -- 4:00 pm

Ideally, we'd like to have 2 volunteers per shift so this a great opportunity for couples or friends who like to work in tandem. The perfect candidates for these positions are:

• able to consistently commit to a regular shift (same day/time each week)*
• comfortable lifting and moving potentially heavy and/or bulky items
• posses friendly positive attitudes
• genuinely enjoy helping others

The regular commitment is of key importance. Donations are the first cog in the Thrift Store's revenue machine. Therefore, we must have devoted volunteers at the ready during our posted donation hours. Accepting and processing donations has a direct, positive effect on the animals we've pledged to help.
