We are looking for Adults who are are interested in volunteering in a Healthcare setting. We have rewarding volunteer opportunities in customer service roles at our information desks. These opportunities start as early as 8:00am and most assignments end by 4:00pm in the hospital. Most of the shifts are only 3-4 hours long Monday-Friday. These areas can provide consistent patient contact or we can provide clerical type work for those who prefer to help behind the scenes instead.
Our volunteer program provides free uniforms, and a free lunch on assignment days. We have many rewarding events, and growing programs that are volunteers are volunteers are invited to on a regular basis. We have friendly staff and provide true volunteer roles that are busy and rewarding for the individual who joins our volunteer program.
We are a fully running Medical Center and one of the leading hospitals in the state of Arizona. We are looking for volunteers who want to give back to their community and have the desire to help others. Customer service is our priority as well as great medical care. We have various opportunities for various people with great skills and talent. The volunteer assignments we provide are not clinical internships, or career shadowing. Support To Visitors And The Public
- Providing A Friendly And Welcoming Environment At Our Main Reception Desk And Our Outpatient Reception Desk
- Guiding Our Visitors Throughout The Facility
Support To Patients And Caregivers
- Provide friendly visiting and rounding to our patients on the nursing units
- Providing hospitality services to our newly admitted patients
- Provide valued assistance in our emergency department
Support Behind-The-Scenes
- Clerical support, answering telephones, stocking supplies, delivering supplies, running errands, delivering and picking up meal trays, assisting in our food service area, mail delivery
