MSS is a non profit that supports adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. We would like to put together a training for our staff on diversity, and are looking for volunteers who may be interested in giving a brief presentation at a staff meeting, and/or putting together some training materials we can share with our staff. We are open to including information on different cultures, religions, sexuality, gender, language, ethnicities and anything else one might feel is valuable information to share with others. Volunteers with personal or professional experience, backgrounds, traditions, beliefs, practices and preferences are all welcome to be involved. In person training sessions will be mornings and/or afternoons as part of a staff meeting and will last 1-2 hours. Volunteers willing to assemble materials/info can make their own schedule.
