Novant Health Hospice is looking for dedicated, compassionate individuals to join our Giving Gardens team!
As a member of this team, you will create beautiful bouquets from locally donated flowers to deliver to our newly admitted patients each week! This is a fun and sweet way to lift the spirits of the people in your community.
There are several ways to serve:
- Pick up flowers from local businesses (Trader Joes, Harris Teeter, The Flower Shop, various florists) and drop flowers off at our main office to be cleaned and arranged
- Clean and arrange our bouquets as part of a team (Wednesdays only)
- Pick up bouquets from our office and deliver them to patients and their families in the Greater Charlotte area
**Please note: the covid-19 vaccine is required by Novant Health in order to volunteer at this time. Religious or medical exemption forms may be submitted if applicable**

About Novant Health Hospice
324 N. McDowell St, Charlotte, NC 28204, US
We the employees and physician partners will deliver the most remarkable patient experience in every dimension, every time.
Providing care for a loved one who is sick and can no longer look after themselves can be one of the biggest challenges a family has to face. These conditions can arise from old age, severe illness or crippling injuries, but regardless of the cause, we believe that no family should have to face these challenges alone.
Our hospice services provide a wide range of services and care-giving that can help patients and their loved ones when it is needed the most. Comfort, compassion and dignity are at the forefront of the care we provide.
Our hospice care specialists provide care for terminally ill patients and their families. We know how sensitive these times may be, and our goal is to provide patients and their families with effective healthcare that will improve the quality of a patient’s last days.
We provide an individualized treatment plan to comfortably manage pain and physical symptoms of each need a patient may have. Our team is made of doctors, nurses, medical social workers, chaplains, grief counselors, and volunteers that work together to help patients live life as comfortably and fulfilled as possible.
