We are looking for excited volunteers to help raise money for Project AID's mission through a very fun setting: UNC Sports! We've partnered with the company "Eats2Seats," which works on gamedays at UNC at the food and drinks venders and gives most of the money to nonprofits. Project AID is looking for people who could volunteer starting before a UNC football game until the start of the second half, and then you get to watch the rest of the game for free! Project AID will receive most of the money made through the sales. This applies to football games in the fall and basketball games in the Spring. If you have any questions at all, feel free to email us!

Mission Statement
We believe that everyone should have access to health care, no matter their income. A lack of accessible health care has ripple effects on a family, a community, and a country, and our mission is to expand access to health care for impoverished patients in New Delhi.
Description
Project AID is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we work with two organizations in Delhi: Safdarjung Hospital and St. Jude Cancer Centre.
Safdarjung Hospital is one of India’s largest government hospitals and provides highly-subsidized surgeries. In general, the treatment only costs 100-500 USD, but many impoverished patients still cannot afford treatment. Project AID works to connect the wealth of the US with impoverished patients in New Delhi who cannot pay for their treatment. We have sponsored over 40 patients so far in Safdarjung Hospital.
St. Jude Childcare Centre houses pediatric cancer patients and their parents free of cost . Although children receive free cancer treatment from a nearby hospital, many of these patients travel from all over India for treatment and are too poor to pay for housing. They end up sleeping on the street or in metro stations where conditions are extremely dangerous for the children’s compromised immune systems. St. Jude searches for these children and provides free housing for them and their families. The center also provides education, counseling, and fun activities. Project AID has sponsored three housing unitsat St. Jude for one year at 715USD per room per year.
We challenge you to help us in our mission to provide health care, a universal right, to the people of New Delhi. No donation is too small if it helps save a life.
