Brighton Hospice is looking for volunteers to assist our friendly, welcoming staff, by helping with office tasks. Duties may include: organizing admission paperwork, filing, sending faxes, prepping and sending mail, answering phones, stocking supplies and helping with special projects/events.

This opportunity is great for people who are interested in learning about hospice and want to work with a caring team of professionals. We are committed to providing the best care and support to our patients and families.

In accordance with the Federal Mandate, volunteers must be fully vaccinated or have an approved exemption to volunteer. Proof of vaccination must be presented during the on-boarding process.

Description

Brighton Hospice originated in 2012 in Utah and has spread to several other states including Minnesota, Oregon, Nevada and as of 2019 has come to Wisconsin and Indiana. Brighton Hospice is designed to provide comfort and support to patients, so they may live out the last phase of their lives with dignity in a familiar setting. The goal of hospice care is to improve the quality of a patient’s last months by offering comfort, dignity and care in a familiar setting, whether that be in the patient’s own home, Assisted Living, or Skilled Nursing Facility. Brighton Hospice recognizes that the dying process is a part of the normal process of living and focuses on enhancing the quality of remaining life. Our team is made up of our Administrator, Director of Clinical Services, Medical Director, Nurse Case Managers, Hospice Aides, Social Worker, Chaplain and an excellent support team. Brighton Hospice will provide you and your family with the quality care you deserve.
