The 2020 Census is coming up and we want to make sure everyone is counted! NAKASEC VA is looking for volunteers who can assist in tabling at various cultural events for 3-4 hour shifts.

Volunteers would:

  • Help with hands-on activities such as crafts, trivia, and giving out prizes
  • Talk about and educate others about the upcoming Census
  • Encourage attendees to fill out pledge cards, which will be sent out as a reminder to complete the census
Don't know anything about the Census? Don't worry, we'll be sure to go over the materials and teach you what you need to know to make sure you're ready to table with us.

No foreign language skills are required, but we always are on the lookout for bilingual volunteers that can speak Korean, Vietnamese, or another Asian language.

Can't make it to this event? Here are our other upcoming tabling opportunities:

  • Taste of Annandale, Annadale: 10/5
  • Fall for Fairfax: Kidsfest, Fairfax: 10/5, 10/6
  • Sterling Fest: 10/12
