The Northborough Senior Center is looking for someone with an interest in books and creative display to assist with display and organization of key public spaces in the Senior Center.
- Utilize existing picture hanging system at the Senior Center to hang photos and art by Senior Center participants. Label, rotate pictures in a timely manner.
- Organize and display donated books for the Senior Center honor system library. The Senior Center library/bookshelves are a focal wall in the lobby/lounge area. It contributes to first impressions of the building and the overall climate of the space.
A system for integrating new books, weeding out old donations
Options for donating excess books, puzzles
This position is flexible in terms of schedule.

Mission of the Senior Center and Council on Aging The role of the Northborough Senior Center and council on Aging is to maintain or increase the quality of life for the mature citizens of the Northborough community. This is done through support, advocacy, planning, coordination, and implementation of programs that bring mature citizens together for social, recreational, and educational purposes. The Council on Aging seeks to educate the entire community and enlist its support and participation.
Description
The Northborough Senior Center is a town department that provides activities and assistance to primarily a 60 plus clientele in the form of exercise and other classes, support groups, assistance via the van, SHINE, the Outreach Department and socialization including at mealtime in the in house restaurant the Bistro@119.
