Join us for a Lunch and Learn on Thursday, September 26th from 11:30 am to 1 pm at 2425 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28203. You will have an opportunity to meet other volunteers, enjoy lunch and learn about the Transportation Volunteer program.
RSVP to Tamrah Jordan at tamrah.jordan@redcross.org by Monday, September 23, 2019. Please include any dietary restrictions with your RSVP.
Transportation Volunteers:
- Transport lifesaving blood from the American Red Cross Blood Donation Center (2425 Park Road, Charlotte, NC) to area hospitals.
- Gain valuable training/experience while providing an invaluable service to the community.
- Morning/evening routes are available. Most volunteers drive at least twice a month.
- Flexible! Create your own schedule.
- Use of Red Cross branded vehicles for routes.
- All training is free of charge, including CPR/First aid/Defensive Driving for qualified volunteers.
- Valid state driver's license
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
- 3+ years driving experience with a clean driving record
