Volunteers are needed to help at Viva CalleSJ--San Jose's Open Streets event! Thousands of residents will enjoy riding, walking, jogging and biking along the streets that are closed to cars!
From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the streets will be open for healthy and active fun! Volunteers will assist at one of the hubs, helping with customer service, directions, survey taking and other tasks!
- Volunteers must work the entire shift: 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- Please wear closed-toe shoes and dress appropriately for the weather
- Bring a filled water bottle
- A hat and sunscreen are recommended
- All training will be provided
Teens 14 years and older are welcome! Come earn community service hours!

Description
The City of San Jose Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services Division's Volunteer Management Unit serves the community by providing meaningful, safe and inspiring volunteer projects for those that enjoy the healthy benefits of environmental and community service.
