Motivated High School Students Wanted for Intern Opportunity

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is recruiting high school students on Oahu for an exemplary leadership program called Students of the Year.

Students of the Year helps students round out college applications/resumes while fundraising for blood cancer research. Candidates will earn volunteer hours, a letter of recognition, develop their leadership skills, and engage in their community. They are also competing for over $2500 in college scholarships.

Applicants must have strong leadership ability as we are looking for the most motivated students that want to help cure cancer.

The campaign is seven weeks, from February to April. However, meetings will start ASAP to mentor, train, and establish goals. All meetings are on the candidates free time, and we will meet once every three weeks until the campaign kicks off in February.
