ORGANIZATION: Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver

Habitat Metro Denver operates four home improvement ReStore outlets throughout the area that rely heavily on volunteer work. As a Volunteer Program Assistant, you will help us to manage our daily volunteers and ensure that they have a positive experience. We’re looking for someone who enjoys interacting with people and wants to use or enhance their leadership and public speaking skills.

Materials sold at the ReStores generate $2 million each year and allow us to serve more families in our community. By supporting our ReStore volunteers, you play an integral role off the construction sites and help set a stronger foundation for us to build on!

ReStore locations are: Denver, Wheat Ridge, Aurora, and Littleton.

Time Commitment:

  • ReStore staff will work with you to set a designated, regular shift time. Example Shifts: Sunday - Saturday shifts 9:45 AM - 11:00 PM or 1:45 PM - 3:00 PM

Major Responsibilities:
  • Orient new volunteers at the beginning of their shifts
  • Check-in with volunteers and keep them engaged
  • Lead daily volunteers
  • Fill out paperwork
  • Represent Habitat Metro Denver in a positive and professional manner
  • Be informed and current with Habitat news, policies, and procedures
