Volunteers will be teaching the Junior Achievement (JA) Economics for Success program to 6th graders. JA will provide you with a guidebook of lesson plans with step-by-step instructions, talking points, teaching tips, and all the student activity materials you need to lead the students through fun, hands-on activities centered on one of JA’s many free enterprise themed programs. Before you teach you will have a training session, and will be provided with training videos, and other tools to prepare you to lead your lessons and have a successful teaching experience. A minimum of two volunteers will lead the sessions in each classroom and a classroom teacher will be present at all times to manage classroom behavior.
