Petey Greene, a non-profit that supplements education in correctional facilities by preparing volunteers to provide free, high-quality tutoring, is recruiting volunteer tutors to support the academic attainment of incarcerated learners at Wallkill Correctional.
We are looking for 4 volunteers (2 math, 2 humanities) to tutor incarcerated students working towards their high school equivalencies. Tutoring would take place Wednesday from 5:15 - 7:15pm or Friday from 1-3pm.

- Pass a DOCCS background check (takes 30-60 days); attend a DOCCS orientation at Wallkill; attend a Petey Greene 5 hour tutoring training.
