Admissions/Greeter /Meeter
To welcome patients and their families to MossRehab at Elkins Park as they enter the hospital via the EMCEP Emergency Department.
To escort new admissions and transportation company staff to assigned inpatient units. Greeter works collaboratively with lobby receptionist, healthcare access staff and leaders to greet persons being admitted to MossRehab.
When not accompanying new admissions, the Greeter serves as an ambassador and welcomes patients and visitors in the hospital main lobby, answers questions, provides information and as often as possible, walks patients to locations in the hospital.
Greeter serves a variety of populations including Adolescent, Adult, Older Adult and Frail Elderly in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual.
